I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in the State of Alabama. I have been working in private practice for the past four years, mainly with adult population. A significant part of my practice is assessment and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders of individuals from different ethnic backgrounds. I also provide consultation services for agencies and schools regarding multi cultural issues, acculturation issues in school age children, diagnosis of attention deficit disorder and learning disabilities in children and bilingual children.

I earned my Ph.d. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa-Alabama. I completed my Psychology Internship at the Postdoctoral training at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Psychiatry and Neurobiology doing clinical evaluations, psychological treatment and research work. I had also completed my Master of Public Health degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, division of Clinical Psychology.
